Hello Maple Village families and friends,

We’d like to pass on the following information and invitation from Pasadena Waldorf School:

We would like to bring to your attention an important event this Sunday in Old Town Pasadena hosted by ReGeneration, a non-profit working to seed Waldorf education in the Middle East. These start-up kindergartens are tangible evidence of the social renewal mission of Waldorf education and their stories are quite inspirational. This is an opportunity to learn more about how Waldorf is working in the world, and support the Palestinian kindergarten effort.

Bring your friends to this inspiring presentation in the heart of Old Town Pasadena and help us get a matching grant for $10,000 for Waldorf kindergarten teacher training.

In Israel there are over 200 Waldorf kindergartens providing peaceful and healing classrooms for thousands of young children growing up under the stress of regional conflict…

Now is your chance to help Palestinian children receive this healing education as well.

A nurturing environment in the early years can modify an individual’s brain development and the ability to deal with stressful conditions later in life.
