Painting in the Early Grades
A hands-on workshop for parents
Tuesday, March 13, 2012
6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Does the Waldorf approach to painting mystify you?  Join our grades teacher Ms. Lynne for an evening of painting and discussion, so you can experience it yourself!

“The early explorations and adventures in painting are the child’s introduction to and basic research about the qualities of the colors.  The child experiences in a direct, nonintellectual way how the colors relate to each other, how some juxtapositions of the color create harmony and joy and others create tension, and what miraculous transformations take place when the colors mix and touch.  The discovery of colors can and should elicit wonder and surprise in the child.”  (Excerpted from “Color Me Waldorf” by Thomas Poplawski.)

Please note that there is no childcare available for this event.  See you tomorrow night!
