This weekend Maple Village is hosting a Picnic, Music and Art in the Park celebration.  The grades children will be sharing a folk dance and the May Pole will be available for everyone to dance around. If inspired please bring flowers, rafia and a picnic to make flower crowns.

We are excited to announce we have the following musicians sharing their gifts during this gathering.  Performing in this sequence: Ramon Rodriguez & Family, Alec Bridges, Maple Village Kids, Tara Rose Davidson, and Elizaveta. In addition, we will have crafts for the little and big kids… Ramon Rodriguez, Missy Washington, Nicole Ichtertz, Donni Webber and a few children will be sharing their inspirations. Magical Sun Tea will be available…please bring a cup or bowl for your enjoyment.

Please share this event with your family and friends. It is a great way for them to enjoy the Maple Village Community.  The Facebook invite is HERE.  Donations will be received the day of at tea blanket. Suggested donation for Adults $11 and Children are Free (or they can bring their spare coins). Contributions are for Maple Village School.  Artists might have their music for exchange… if inspired to support the ARTS have some extra cash on hand!

Side note:  We ask everyone take home their waste from the park. We would like to leave as little of visible imprint on the park, including in the trash containers.

A fun, magical night was had by all this past Saturday at the annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade!  Maple Village School was one of over 100 entries in this year’s parade.  Thanks to our community the event was a rousing success!  We received many compliments on our float from parade spectators.  A very special thanks goes out to Michael Gardner, for designing the float; Matthew Webber, for leading the construction of the float; Greg Gilday, for supplying the trailer; Lisa McCarthy, Andreas Preponis and Francesca Delfin, for lending their musical talent; and Kelly and Lisa Olauson, for providing their home as a community gathering place before the parade.  Also to the many elves who helped put the finishing touches on!  We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
