About Maple Village School

Maple Village School offers an education inspired by Waldorf philosophy and methods in Long Beach, California.  In the fall of 2011, the school excitedly launched its grades program with its inaugural combined 1st & 2nd Grade class, adding to the existing Parent/Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten programs.  Maple Village will continue to grow each year to eventually serve children from toddlerhood through 8th grade.

Our school is currently thriving, with healthy enrollment, joyful students, and a treasured community of families.  Our dedicated teaching staff provides nurturing programs in a compassionate and welcoming environment, rooted in the traditions and philosophies of Waldorf education.  We are a Developing Member of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association (WECAN), and plan to pursue full AWSNA accreditation.

Maple Village School is dedicated to making our school accessible to as many families as possible in the greater Long Beach area.  We have taken great strides towards this goal, opening an Accessible-to-All Tuition program in the Spring of 2010, which now benefits 25% of our students.
